Carry the reason as well as the action
Imagine a meeting moving to a different day. Updating a calendar is only one part of the change. Someone may also need to revise preparation time, tell a colleague and remember why the meeting mattered in the first place.
A connected assistant could be evaluated on how clearly it helps with those relationships. Our view is that it should preserve the reason behind a suggestion, make relevant context accessible and avoid treating every related item as equally urgent.
Connection should reduce effort
For a platform associated with Ihesiulo’s ambition, integration is worth examining through the user’s workload. If connecting systems requires constant explanation and repeated setup, the burden may simply have moved to a different place.
A stronger experience would give people a useful starting point and reveal more detail when needed. This is the editorial opportunity we see in connected intelligence: make the relationships between pieces of work easier to understand, so the person can spend more time deciding and creating.
